Built by a creative, for creatives.

Primzy started with a simple belief: beauty professionals are not line items on a spreadsheet. They are artists, and they deserve a platform that treats them that way.

The Story Behind Primzy

Hi there! I'm Sadiqa Lor, the founder of Primzy.

I'm a mom of two in Florida, and it can be pretty overwhelming!

Before I was a founder, I was an actress and a model. My perspective on the beauty world was shaped long before I ever thought about starting Primzy. I spent years firsthand watching stylists transform their visions into reality. This made me see that stylists are actually more like artists rather than just "service providers".

After graduating from UNF with a degree in Communications in 2018, I moved to the Bay Area. Living in the heart of the tech world was a wake-up call. I saw that massive corporations looked at creatives not as artists, but as numbers.

It felt cold. I saw an industry where app creators looked at stylists as numbers on a spreadsheet rather than a person with real dreams. I didn't want stylists to feel like a number - I genuinely wanted to help them with the knowledge that I had.

What I also noticed was that a lot of these dreams were hard to materialize because it can be really brutal building a clientele. Marketing and a lack of it can make it or break it for you. On the other hand, I remember too how hard it was as the client trying to find the right stylist for my specific needs.

That's what led me to Primzy, a one-stop place where all beauty clients and stylists can meet.

And as a mother whose life can get really stressful at times, I also want to help stylists feel like they can have more control over their life. It's hard to feel creative and free when there's so many things going on.

Raising two toddlers and homeschooling while building a business was the ultimate test of my creativity. I will tell anyone that one of the most influential lessons I have learned so far in life is that having structure and organization is one of the most important things for any artist or creative to have.

If you don't have a high level of organization and a solid structure in place, you will not have any time to think about being creative because you're filled with stress and anxiety. So, I want to use my background in data and organization to build the structure for you through Primzy, so that you don't have to carry that mental load. In a world where AI is being used to take creatives jobs away, I want to use it to empower them.

I'm a creative who is obsessed with honesty and intentionality. My mission is to be the strategist in your corner. Let's be business partners and see what we can do together!
